Ardula and the Community
The company is a local concern run by and employing local people. The directors and many of the staff live in local rural villages. The company supports many local charities and community interests such as:
- Sponsorship of local village school fetes.
- Sponsorship of materials and services for Paddock Wood Primary School Nature Garden Project and rebuilding of Horsmonden Community Kindergarten.
- Sponsorship of environmental and playground improvements to the grounds of Horsmonden Primary School.
- Carried out works free of charge to extend car parking at Hospice in the Weald, Pembury saving the Hospice approx £15,000.
- Supplied three new vans to Hospice in the Weald for their shop trading and maintenance operations - look out for them on the road with their Ardula and Hospice logos.
- Fundraising event participation for the construction industry charity, The Lighthouse Club.
- Sponsors of Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Football Club, recognising the Club’s extensive work in youth and community work and training.
- Sponsors of Horsmonden Cricket Club which has a strong community and youth development ethos
All local concerns that ask for assistance are helped in some way if at all possible.
In addition the company’s managing director, Martin Dace, is committee Chairman of the South East Branch of the construction industry charity, the Lighthouse Club.
